Karen Bolton, Deputy Manager
 With 9 years childcare experience Karen is qualified to NVQ Level 3 Childcare and Education and is also a Paediatric First Aider. Karen also has a Food Hygiene qualification and loves jumping in muddy puddles. Sue Phipps, Play Assistant
 Sue has 11 years Early Years childcare experience and is a Paediatric First Aider. She will commence her NVQ Level 3 in 2012. Sue is passionate about her horses Bill and Ben and when she's not with them Sue likes flying kites on Bodmin Moor.Melissa Peirce, Play Assistant
 A qualified nurse, Melissa has 3 years experience in Early Years Childcare and and is also a Paediatric First Aider. She has completed her NVQ Level 2 Childcare and Education and will undertake her Level 3 in 2012. Melissa runs Marathons, competes in Triathlons and loves surfing in the rain.Tor Redhead, Play Assistant
 Tor has 4 children of her own - Alice, Momo, William and Tilly. With Tilly now attending Tor holds the record for number of offspring to have gone through the preschool! Tor was previously a nanny after spending 10 years sailing traditional wooden boats and square riggers all over the world. Consequently the whole family love sailing, swimming, the beach and anything else that involves getting wet! Tor is trained to NVQ level 2 and is currently working towards her level 3.  Bernice originally qualified as a Nursery Nurse and worked for many years for the County Council as a portage teacher, home teaching young children with special needs. She later ran a private nursery in Lostwithiel with her daughter before going to Bodmin College to teach Childcare to post 16s. Finishing there in September 2011 Bernice was delighted to be asked to look after the admin side of the preschool, and is loving her new role! |

Val has been teaching Early Years and Key Stage 1 since 1995, after gaining her Bachelor of Education Honours Degree in 1994. She has substantial preschool management experience and is now doing a fantastic job of managing ours!
